It was our first time here and we loved it! Pulled pork, brisket, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and beans were all delicious! The service was also excellent. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

We had a great meal! My husband and I split a plate- half rack of ribs. These were very flavorful. The meat falls off the bone. We didn't need sauce, although they have a variety of signature sauces. We chose mashed potatoes/gravy and ranch beans. These were all good.

If you haven't eaten here. You are missing out. I have traveled the united states and eaten my fair share of BBQ. State 48 is one of my top picks. In the state of Arizona it is my top choice. The ribs and tri tip are amazing.

I personally have had Brisket BBQ all over the US, (Houston, Dallas, Kansas City, Carolina's) and I have to say that the Brisket at State 48 in Prescott, AZ is my absolute Favorite. I recommend getting the fattier cuts - it is the juiciest and is packed with flavor. The sides are all great and the home made BBQ Sauces are all very tasty.

The pulled pork and special corned beef hash were both delicious. Awesome ranch beans & tasty mac & cheese. All the Staff were friendly & informative. Beer was cold! We will be back!!
